日本とノルウェーの第一線で活躍する建築家を招き、対話を通して建築における共通の価値観、課題、未来への展望を探ります。両国間の文化交流と協力強化を目的に、日常における建築の役割、持続可能性、気候変動への適応、長期的なレジリエンスについて双方の視点から示唆に富むプレゼンテーションとオープン対話を行います。それぞれの建築作品、研究、実践に基づいたアプローチを通し、空間への感性と素材の本質の尊重、社会との関わりが現代の建築思考に与える影響を考察します。また知識の共有とインスピレーション、国境を越えより深い文化的・専門的な繋がりを育むプラットフォームを提供します。

Shared Horizon: Japanese–Norwegian Architectural Dialogue brings together leading voices from Norway and Japan to explore shared values, challenges, and future directions in architecture. Against the backdrop of the Norwegian delegation’s visit to Tokyo, the event aims to strengthen cross-cultural exchange and professional collaboration between the two countries.
Participants can expect thoughtful presentations and an open dialogue on architecture’s role in everyday life, sustainability, climate adaptation, and long-term resilience—drawing from both Norwegian and Japanese perspectives. Through built works, research, and practice-based approaches, the speakers will reflect on how spatial sensitivity, material honesty, and social engagement shape contemporary architectural thinking.
The event offers a valuable platform for knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and fostering deeper cultural and professional connections across borders.

手塚貴晴+手塚由比 (手塚建築研究所)
Takaharu+Yui Tezuka , Founders of Tezuka Architects　　　　　

手塚建築研究所の創設者。「ふじようちえん」はじめ、子どもの環境づくりで国内はもとより国際的に高く評価されています。UNESCO、建築学会、JIA などの主要な賞を受賞し、子どもの環境に関する研究がハーバード大学から出版されています。また、日本の幼児施設設計ガイドライン策定に携わり、世界各地で講演活動を行っています。
Founders of Tezuka Architects, Takaharu + Yui Tezuka are internationally recognized for their innovative work in children’s environments, including the award‑winning Fuji Kindergarten. They have received major honors from UNESCO, AIJ, and JIA, and their research on childhood environments has been published by Harvard University. They continue to lecture globally and contribute to national guidelines for kindergarten design in Japan.

Alexander Eriksson Frunes, Founder of Eriksson Frunes

エリクソン・フルネスの創設者。アレクサンダー・エリクソン・フルネスは、アート・建築・コミュニティを横断して活動する建築家／研究者です。参加型の設計・施工プロセスを中心に、ブラジル、中国、インド、フィリピン、ベトナム、日本などでもプロジェクトを展開しています。建築、インスタレーション、出版など多様な成果は、世界各地の展覧会やビエンナーレ、コミュニティで発表されています。
Founder of Eriksson Furunes, Alexander Eriksson Furunes is an architect and researcher working at the intersection of art, architecture, and community engagement. His practice centers on collaborative design and build processes, with projects realized across Brazil, China, India, Norway, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Japan. His work spans buildings, installations, and publications, and has been presented in exhibitions, biennials, and local communities worldwide.

シェティル・トレーダル・トールセン (スノヘッタ共同創設者)
Kjetil Trædal Thorsen, Founding Partner, Snøhetta

スノヘッタの共同創設者であるシェティル・トレーダル・トーセンは、1989年の設立以来、同事務所の学際的かつ国際的なアプローチを牽引してきました。アレクサンドリア図書館、ノルウェー国立オペラ・バレエ、北京図書館などの主要プロジェクトに深く関わり、現在東京の「渋谷アッパーウエスト」プロジェクトにも参画しています。彼の仕事はミース・ファン・デル・ローエ賞、アガ・カーン賞、グローバル・アワード・フォー・サステナブル・アーキテクチャーなど数々の主要な賞を受賞。講演や国際コンペの審査員としても活躍し、インスブルック大学での建築教育にも携わってきました。
Thorsen has been central to shaping the firm’s transdisciplinary and global approach since 1989. He has played key roles in major international projects—including the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the Beijing Library—and Snøhetta is currently engaged in the Shibuya Upper West project in Tokyo. His work has been recognized with leading honors such as the Mies van der Rohe Award, the Aga Khan Award, and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture. A frequent lecturer and jury member, he has also taught architecture at the University of Innsbruck.

リチャード・ウッド (スノヘッタ マネージングディレクター/アジア)
Richard Wood, Managing Director Asia, Snøhetta

スノヘッタのアジア統括マネージングディレクターとして、同社の地域展開とプロジェクトを主導しています。2012年から日本を含めアジアを拠点に、渋谷アッパーウエスト、NOT A Hotel 、ルスツ、コタキナバル・マスタープランなどの主要プロジェクトを手がけてきました。設計活動に加え、香港理工大学や上海交通大学、FIND Singapore、アートバーゼル香港などで教育・講演活動も行っています。バートレット建築学校で修士号を取得、英国王立建築家協会会員。
Richard Wood is the Managing Director Asia at Snøhetta, leading the firm’s development and projects across the region. Based in Asia since 2012, he has designed and directed major public and institutional works, including the Tokyo Shibuya Upper West Project, NOT A Hotel Rusutsu, and the Kota Kinabalu Masterplan. Alongside his design practice, he teaches and lectures widely, with engagements at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, FIND Singapore, and Art Basel Hong Kong. Richard holds a Master of Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
