Applicant
: Person applying to study at TUFS
Recommender①
: Former / Current Academic Professor (supervisor) of the applicant's university who writes a Letter of Recommendation with Cover Letter (1)
Recommender②
A) For applicants of "PCS Course under SP-MEXT Scholarship", the DEAN or Person of higher authority of the applicant's university who writes a Letter of Recommendation with Cover Letter (2)
B) For applicants of "PCS Course", another Former / Current Academic Professor or others who write a Letter of Recommendation with Cover Letter (2)
【Note 1】 This request form is NOT the Application Form.
  • The Applicant must arrange to have Two Letters of Recommendation submitted by their Recommenders.
  • The Applicant must complete this form to have the necessary information sent to their Recommenders. 
  • At least one Letter of Recommendation must be written by a Former / Current Academic Professor. (Recommender①)
  • TUFS may contact the Recommenders to confirm the information submitted using this form.
【Note 2】 To Applicants for "PCS Course under SP-MEXT Scholarship"
  • One letter must be written by a Former / Current Academic Professor.
  • The other with Cover Letter (2) must be written and signed by the Dean or a person of higher authority with attention to "Professor HARUNA Nobuo, President of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies." These requirements are set by the Japanese government.

  • If you wish to apply for "PCS Course under SP-MEXT Scholarship", you need to enter Name of the Dean or a person of higher authority in this field.
