The student application deadline is November 10th, 2025 (11:59 pm, JST). 
Before that, your study abroad coordinator must nominate you by October 30, 2025 (JST). AGU does not accept the exchange program application if our partner institution does not nominate you.

AGU exchange students need to belong to a School/College. They can take courses from other Schools/colleges on both campuses. However, they must take the credited Japanese language course(s) at the campus to which they belong.

Confirming the issuance timing of official transcript/ AGUの成績証明書発行時期の確認
AGU issues the official transcripts, as shown below. Please note that AGU can only give an official transcript after the specified months.

Confirming the submission of travel insurance policy/海外旅行保険加入書類提出の確認
AGU requires all exchange students to enroll in the Japanese National Health Insurance System (NHI)after their arrival. In addition to this, AGU also requires all exchange students to purchase or be covered by travel insurance provided by their home institution throughout their study period at AGU. We need the students to submit the proof of enrollment to travel insurance before arriving in Japan.

青山学院大学は、交換留学生の来日後、国民健康保険（NHI）への加入を求めます。これに加え、留学期間をカバーする海外旅行保険への加入を求めます。来日前に海外旅行保険に加入していることの証明書を提出していただきます。
