This is an application form for applying to ICU via MEXT Scholarship Embassy Recommendation.
Please note that your personal information provided in this form will only be used for this admission process.

Applicants should first apply at the Japanese embassy/consulate of your country and pass their screening.

Passing Certificate of the Primary Screening
Please attach the scanned copy of the "Passing Certificate of the Primary Screening (第一次選考合格証明書)" issued by the Japanese Embassy, by clicking the "ファイルを選択"(Select file) button.

-If you have obtained (or expect to obtain) a master's degree before enrollment,  you are eligible to apply to the "Doctoral Course Regular Student" (degree seeking course) at ICU Graduate School with MEXT Scholarship Embassy Recommendation..

ARE YOU SURE you are now applying for "ICU" Kenkyusei status? ICU offers degree seeking course under MEXT definition (conditions apply).
If you have MA degree, you are eligible for applying the Kenkyusei of ICU Graduate School.
If you have BA degree (not MA), you are eligible for applying the Kenkyusei of ICU Undergraduate School, not ICU Graduate School.

SCORE DELIVERY REQUEST <Applicants for kenkyusei at ICU College of Liberal Arts>
Request a test center to send the official document including the applicant's score directly to the ICU Graduate School Group. Only the tests taken within 2 years at the time of application are valid. (Check the official website of each language proficiency test to arrange the direct delivery of your score. JLPT: https://www.jlpt.jp/certificate/index.html IELTS: http://www.ielts.org, TOEFL: http://www.toefl.org）. As for the test score of EJU, ICU will directly request JASSO to provide ICU with the applicant's score.
